Automated Benchtop Purification of DNA from Fresh or Frozen Cells
The Maxwell® RSC Cell DNA Purification Kit is used with the Maxwell® RSC and RSC 48 Instruments to provide an easy method for efficient, automated purification of genomic DNA from cell samples. The Maxwell® RSC Instrument can process from 1 to 16 samples and the Maxwell® RSC 48 can process from 1 to 48 samples in a single run. Genomic DNA can be isolated from cells grown either in suspension or attached to plates. Cells are collected and processed in up to 400μl volumes. The purified DNA is ready for downstream analysis without centrifugation, precipitation or rehydration of a DNA pellet.
The kit is compatible with low cell number samples (i.e., amniotic fluid, cerebral spinal fluid and cell supernatants) and can purify DNA from as few as 10 cells.
